Are electric knife sharpeners useful?

Household knife sharpeners can be divided into manual knife sharpeners and electric knife sharpeners according to how they are used. Manual knife sharpeners need to be completed manually. They are smaller in size, more convenient to use, and simple to operate.

The knife sharpener like the one above is very easy to use, and the method of use is also very simple.

First, place the knife sharpener on the platform, hold the non-slip handle firmly with one hand, and hold the knife with the other; then perform one or two of the following Steps (depending on the bluntness of the tool): Step 1, rough grinding: suitable for blunt tools. Put the knife into the grinding mouth, keep the angle of the knife in the middle, grind it back and forth along the arc of the blade with appropriate and even force, and observe the condition of the blade. Generally, repeat three to five times. Step 2, fine grinding: This is a necessary step to eliminate burrs on the blade and grind the blade smooth and bright. Please refer to step one for usage. After sharpening the knife, remember to wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it with water, and then dry it. Use a soft-bristled brush to clean the grinding mouth of the sharpener to keep the sharpening head clean.

The electric knife sharpener is an enhanced knife sharpener product that sharpens knives more efficiently and can also sharpen ceramic knives.

When using an electric knife sharpener (as shown in the picture above), first make sure the knife sharpener switch is off, connect the adapter, turn on the power, and turn on the knife sharpener switch. Place the tool in the grinding groove on the left and grind it at a constant speed from the corner to the tip for 3-8 seconds (3-5 seconds for metal knives, 6-8 seconds for ceramic knives). Be careful not to use too much force at this time and grind according to the shape of the blade. Place the knife into the sharpening slot on the right and grind it in the same way. To ensure the consistency of the blade, alternate grinding of the left and right grinding grooves. It also includes two steps: coarse grinding and fine grinding, and the steps are determined according to the specific situation. Note that after placing the tool into the grinding groove, you should immediately pull it back instead of pushing it forward. Ensure constant force and uniform speed when sharpening the knife.
